At Jordon Glass, we recognize the difficulties a small to medium size glazer faces in controlling the quality of their glass production. Having to depend on a third party processor for tempering can adversely impact the turnaround time to your customers and hinder your control over product quality.
The above two videos highlight our double-sided glass bending (curving) furnace for Flat and Bent Glass. This tempering furnace has two separate pending sections on opposing ends of the hearth to bend temper the glass longitudinally or transversely. These means the glass can enter the tempering furnace at either end depending on the type of tempering required. The furnace can process a maximum flat load of 120”X240” and is designed primarily for architectural projects. Glass thickness processing range is from 5-19mm (3/16”- ¾”). Maxium glass bend-tempering thickness is 12mm (1/2").
