Water jet cutting technology is the most efficient, cost effective and fastest growing method to cut materials. Waterjets (or abrasivejets) can cut virtually any material in any shape with no heat distortion or mechanical stress usually caused by other methods. Technology:
Pressurized water reaching 55,000 pounds per square inch (PSI) is administered through a tiny opening at the end of the waterjet nozzle. The result is a needle like beam of water that can cut a variety of soft materials such as rubber, foam, some woods, etc. When an abrasive such as garnet is applied to the pressurized water, the result is a more potent "abrasive waterjet" with capabilities of cutting hard materials such as steel, stone, glass, etc.

Our Jordon Waterjet utilizes high precision Yaskawa (Japan) servo motors and drivers for pinpoint accuracy and repeatability. Its high-pressure USA made intensifier block produces up to 55,000 PSI (Pounds per Square Inch) to cut almost any material including stainless steel, marble, and glass. The operating system is Windows XP. The cut program is a user-friendly GUI (Graphical User Interface) software by Naiky (Shanghai) that enables the operator to easily control all necessary cut parameters. Because of the Windows XP operating system, .DXF cut files can easily be shared from a central computer set up in your office or by USB thumb drives and then sent to the Waterjet for execution. Files can also be created or modified on the waterjet’s computer which is essential for repetitive cuts, such as for shower door holes & notches, where they can be quickly retrieved and/or modified on the fly saving valuable production time. Most shower door notch and holes can be cut in less than 2min and the best part is that they do not need to be retouched before tempering! The system is offered with an optional sand hopper for longer garnet refills between cuts. Training and installation (labor only) is included FREE.

The simplicity of the design makes it very easy and economical to use / operate / maintain and regulate. With Jordon Waterjets you can adjust or regulate any necessary parameter such as: pressure, speed, sand (garnet), sand grit, nozzle height, etc. allowing you to just create a small indentation in a 1/8" (3mm) mirror or to precisely cut a 1 1/2" (38mm) piece of stainless steel.
